Please be advised that the Regulated (ReD) Environment will be unavailable Monday, August 17, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET, due to scheduled maintenance activities. Please note the extended hours! During this time, we will:
Perform important OS updates to shared infrastructure servers
Rebuild and redeploy scientific software containers
Upgrade Research and Engineering Studio (RES)
Upgrade Parallel Cluster/Open OnDemand
Publish updated software stacks for Research & Engineering Studio (RES) Linux and Windows VDI sessions
Enable memory tracking in SLURM jobs, and
Redeploy Windows group/lab storage resources in RES
We may adjust this list as the feasibility of each item is ironed out within the next several days.
For a full list of changes, please see the recent ReD Maintenance Notice on our SharePoint site (HarvardKey required). Note that we will open up parts of the system as work is cleared for use, and updates to this effect will be posted here on our ReD InStatus (system status) site on a regular basis.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve your regulated research computing needs.
Respectfully,
The Regulated Data Team
As a reminder, regularly scheduled maintenance for the Regulated (RED) environment occurs on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Our next scheduled maintenance is Tuesday, September 8.
